Non-alcoholic drinks in Queenstown

Sidekick on a Queenstown-area mountain ridge

Non-alcoholic in Queenstown is not a kids’ table. Sidekick is a honey-sweetened soda from Wānaka — the next valley over — with real fruit, New Zealand honey, and no cane sugar, no stevia, no erythritol. It is the can that is not another juice, and not another beer.

This is not a ranking of mocktail bars. Named Sidekick stockists only. Fridges move. Ask staff.

Where the can actually is

Where to drink Sidekick in Queenstown is the list:

Sunday is still Airspresso, Onsen, and The Bathhouse. The market is Saturday.

Cherry after a hot climb. Pear on the deck. Core four: Cherry, Mango, Pear, Strawberry.

What else is non-alcoholic here

Water. Still, sparkling, tap. On Ben Lomond and the full-day peaks, that is the drink. Soda is not hydration. How to pack a trail can: water on the hill, can after, pack the empty out.

Coffee is everywhere. That is not this page.

We will not invent a “best AF bars in Queenstown” list. If a venue is not a named Sidekick fridge, it is not on this URL.

If you have a kitchen

A 12-pack in the rental fridge is the other half of a dry weekend — especially if half the house is not drinking. Shop or Fridge Fill to an address that takes parcels. Or buy in town when you land.

How to stock an alcohol-free cooler if you are packing a tub for a group. Cans, on ice. Water in the same tub.

If you want a cocktail or a mocktail in a glass at the house, that is Recipes. Those pages are for mixing. They are not a Queenstown itinerary.

Wānaka is hometown

Sidekick is not from Queenstown. It is from Wānaka. About an hour over the Crown Range in good weather. Where to drink Sidekick in Wānaka if you day-trip. A weekend in Queenstown if you are staying here.
