“Healthy fizzy drink NZ” also pulls up sparkling water with fruit in it. Skinny Fizz is that slot: carbonated water and New Zealand fruit extract, almost no sugar, almost no calories. It is not trying to be soda.
Sidekick is soda. Real fruit, New Zealand honey, a splash of apple cider vinegar. Sweet enough to finish. No cane sugar, no stevia, no erythritol. Roughly 40–50 calories a can.
They can both live in a fridge. They do not replace each other.

The job, not the podium
| Sidekick | Skinny Fizz (typical) | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | Honey-sweetened fruit soda | Sparkling water + fruit |
| Sweetness | Honey and fruit | None on purpose |
| Calories | 37–47 per 250ml can | Near-zero (check their can) |
| Stevia / erythritol | No | No (their story is no additives) |
| Job | A treat you finish | A flavoured water |
If you want fizz with almost no sugar, sparkling water is the honest door. If you want mango soda, water will not do that job.
